STORY:

The film centers on the fascinating trip of a Chambal-based construction engineer who goes all the way to Andhra Pradesh to save a little girl who is in danger. Bobby Kolli’s visually stunning and well-produced film Daaku Maharaaj, which stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role, falls short in telling a compelling story. Bobby Kolli is the writer and director of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s most recent Sankranthi film, an emotional action entertainment. On January 12, at midnight, the film Daaku Maharaaj, which stars three female main actresses, will be released.

Due to the theatrical trailer’s enormously high expectations, overseas fans are extremely enthusiastic about the film. Additionally, the film’s creators released another release trailer, which is now trending heavily on social media, to maintain the pre-release excitement for the film. VERDICT:

Daaku Maharaaj gets off to a great start, enthralling viewers with a compelling first half bolstered by Thaman’s powerful background soundtrack, which heightens the popular appeal of pivotal situations. But in the second half, the movie falters, losing steam as the plot gets cliched and drawn out.

Bobby’s writing is unable to provide strong high points, and the conclusion falls well short of expectations. The film as a whole struggles to climb beyond mediocrity because of its lackluster second half, even if Bala Krishna’s understated performance and Thaman’s outstanding soundtrack in the first half stand out.

Veera Simha Reddy was a great opener for Balakrishna, which made ₹25 crore on its first day of business in Telugu state. It just so happens that, like Daku Maharaj, this movie was also released around Sankranti.

Daku Maharaj’s immediate goal is to surpass Veera Simha Reddy’s opening day total and produce a massive box office debut for Balayya. However, this task is far more difficult than it appears.

It should be mentioned that Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vastunnam and Ram Charan’s Game Changer will be released with this movie. There will be intense competition for everything, including the theater shares and distribution. Therefore, it would be interesting to see if Balayya can pass this test and continue to record a respectable figure with this Daku Maharaj.
